DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform transactions adequately and in accordance with Casino procedures
• Cashier is responsible for a float (bank) that must be kept in balance at all times
• Cashes customer checks, redeems slot machine tickets, cashes chips, processes and cashes quick cash checks
• Ensures that cash drawers are balanced to the appropriate impressed amount at the beginning and end of each shift
• Exchanges assets with the vault
• Keeps drawer stocked with cash, chips, tokens, etc., throughout current shift and for the following shift
• Completes all necessary paperwork; count sheet, exchange sheets, MTL’s and CTR’s
• Cashier is responsible for the security of the cage and will prevent access by an unauthorized person and for all aspects of  cashiering throughout the shift, in a safe and responsible manner
• Keeps work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be age 21 or older
• Must qualify for a gaming license
• Minimum 2 yrs. college and/or cage bank teller experience
• Requires bending, finger dexterity, grasping, standing, and/or walking for periods of up to four hours with no break; must be able to repeatedly lift 40 pounds, must not be color blind
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
