Fixed Operations Director ()

Large Auto group is seeking an experienced Fixed Operations Director to run a Chicago-area Auto group service, parts, and body shop departments. We are seeking a seasoned candidate who is devoted to the concept of continuous improvement. Our Fixed Operations Director will evaluate and improve all areas of service/parts/body departments including policies, procedures, accountability, employee training and skills, customer service experience and sales volume.   
 
Fixed Operations Director Qualifications and Skills:

• 10+ years overall experience in automotive dealership industry.
• 5+ year’s previous experience as a Fixed Ops Director in a dealership group managing the parts, service, and body shop departments.
• Must have experience managing multiple brands simultaneously.
• Must be able to manage a team of 25+ direct reports and 200+ indirect reports.
• Train, motivate and develop current employees and new hires.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve your goals.
• Experience as a technician or good technical aptitude is a big plus.
