A Little About You

- An understanding of design and construction
- Your approach to team collaboration
- A desire for continuous learning
Your resume should show us:
- A diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
- Accredited or eligible for accreditation with ASET
- Experience with design
Bonus points for:
- Contract administration including pulling survey construction points and alignments in Civil 3D
- Field experience with both survey and inspections
- Preparation of tender and contract documents
- Dynamo or programming passion/experience
A Little More About the Role
Responsibilities:
Working in collaboration with both the Water and Community Development teams, you will have the potential to contribute to projects beyond your core discipline. Create topographic site plans, surfaces, and contours from field survey
- Complete Civil 3D designs including roadway corridors, grading functions, pipe networks, surfaces, and earthworks modelling
- Design and draft road and utility alignments, existing and proposed grade profiles, and complex cross sections
- Design calculations for all storm and sanitary pipe networks
- Completion of quantity take-offs and preparing cost estimates
- Information sharing both within and outside of the team
