Data Engineer - Data Vault Specialist - Hybrid

Summary and Responsibilities:We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Data Warehousing and a deep understanding of Data Vault methodology. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and maintaining scalable, auditable, and future-proof data models that support our growing analytical and AI initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and optimize Data Vault models and data pipelines

  • Translate business requirements into robust, extensible data warehouse solutions

  • Collaborate with BI, Data Science, and business teams to ensure AI-readiness of data infrastructure

  • Implement and maintain ETL/ELT processes leveraging Data Vault automation tools (e.g., VaultSpeed)

  • Ensure data integrity, lineage, and auditability through strong modeling and documentation practices

  • Optimize performance and reliability of SQL queries and stored procedures


Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data warehousing and data modeling

  • Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, analytical functions, joins, etc.)

  • Experience with Data Vault 2.0 methodology

    • Certification is highly preferred, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge

  • Hands-on experience with Data Vault automation tools (e.g., VaultSpeed, WhereScape, dbt Vault – a plus)

  • Understanding of AI/ML workflows and how to support them with data engineering

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift) and orchestration tools


Preferred Skills
  • Exposure to cloud data architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

  • Experience supporting data science teams or building AI-ready datasets

  • Familiarity with CI/CD in data engineering contexts

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
