  • The Account Supervisor will identify, lead, and execute the strategic direction for one or more Laughlin Constable client/s.  
  • The Account Supervisor is a resourceful leader who oversees the agency’s development of client communication plans not only to ensure their needs are met, but to provide the guidance and expertise as their marketing, advertising and promotional expert.  The Account Supervisor is a primary senior client relationship contact and holds their staff and themselves accountable to providing each client with “can’t do without” service, and delivery. Contributes to the shaping and selling-in of strategies and tactics across audiences and channels.
  • The Account Supervisor will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams such as Strategy, Media, Creative, User Experience, Development, and Analytics to ensure project objectives are met, budget compliance and timelines are adhered to, and that the overall work product exceeds client expectations. 
  • Be a curious and forward-thinking, considering how emerging technologies and trends may be brought to bear for the betterment of your clients and the agency.
  • Strategic sounding board and “go-to” partner for the client on a day-to-day basis.
  • Builds positive and lasting relationships based upon achievements of the client’s marketing objectives in a manner profitable to the agency.
  • Partners with key agency teams to develop clear, concise creative and project briefs.
  • Expert on the account, its industry, its business strategy, goals, position, and communication objectives and leads team in understanding/knowing this information.
  • Works with agency leadership on all strategy, planning, senior level relationships, proactive thinking and client growth.
  • Fosters successful financial management of accounts they are responsible for.
  • Anticipates problems and challenges and presents ideas on addressing them.
  • Review budgets, projections, profitability and status reports for accuracy – able to use these tools to lead all day-to-day account activities.
  • Leads the development of all client SOW, proposals and estimates, and ensures client understanding and approvals prior to work commencing.
  • Works with management to identify issues and opportunities within their clients and agency
  • Has the ability to confidently persuade, present and champion ideas.
  • Provide supervisory leadership to team, create and foster an environment of openness and trust; understand the competencies of team members in order to build effective, dynamic and client-centric teams.

  • BA/BS Degree in marketing, communications, or advertising.
  • Seven to ten years of related work experience in client services and/or account management.
  • Experience with clients adhering to Agile Development methodologies a plus. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and even stronger interpersonal skills; a willingness to collaborate, learn and teach; the ability to draw insights from research, data and analytical assessments; and the ability to manage budgets and contribute to the creation of estimates and develop written statements of work.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience leading and managing complex branding initiatives/integrated marketing efforts and will have had at least tangential exposure to/participation in website development projects and an understanding of technology stacks including Content Management Systems (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). 
  • Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills are also required. They will plan the clients’ short and long-term brand & digital marketing strategies, as well as take responsibility for “bottom-line” accountability. The Account Supervisor will maintain contact with all levels of management within the assigned client, particularly Senior Management. 
  • Experience and demonstrated passion for leading and managing others who are part of a diverse and integrated team.
  • Financial/budget management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication (written and verbal).
  • Excellent presentation/public speaking ability.
