 We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Digital Project Manager to join the ranks of Milwaukee’s premier agency, Laughlin Constable. In this work hard, play hard environment, you will be responsible for driving and defining the launch of new digital products and services for our clients.  

A strong candidate will have experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methods. They will demonstrate an ability to empathize with user needs, document and capture requirements, employ savvy communication skills to negotiate across internal team and clients while being an advocate for delivering the most value possible.  Our ideal candidate will have experience working on the entirety of a project from inception to completion.
 
Essential Functions
  • Primary process facilitator on assigned accounts partnering with the Account management team
  • Facilitate project scoping, estimating and SOW development
  • Collaborate with Analytics, UI/UX teams, Design and Creative within cross functional Scrum team, and clients to establish timeline workflows and goals
  • Work directly with LC development teams to plan detailed work sprints (sprint planning); help disaggregate development tasks; track and report progress against those tasks 
  • Work with stakeholders, clients, and internal team to forecast and plan using an iterative and incremental approach to manage complexity, change, and the realities of business obligations 
  • Work with internal resource leads to ensure ongoing staffing levels that will allow the team to meet velocity targets and maintain budgeted hours
  • Acts as the hub of communication between agency teams as the first point of contact for initiating new requests
  • Thorough understanding of project scope, and ability to flag not only risk but opportunity for efficiencies and improvements while bringing it all together as a single operating engine
  • Establishment and management of budget and timelines
  • Accountable for ensuring appropriate levels of transparency based on the needs of stakeholders and clients
  • Client-facing communication as-needed on dedicated accounts
  • Partner with stakeholders and clients to define project roadmap
  • Evaluate industry trends and business opportunities for strategic planning
 
Job Specifications
  • Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, computer science, or related field; master’s preferred
  • 5-8 years previous experience in project management or a related field
  • Product Owner (PSPO) certification preferred but not required
  • Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred but not required
  • Working understanding of Agile software development methods, such as the Scrum framework
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate to business and technical resources
  • Demonstrated ability in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Ability to understand technical and business concepts quickly
  • Experience with technical requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, use case development, process flow diagrams
  • Experience working with knowledge & content management systems
  • Experience with infrastructure environment is a plus
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams, in-house and remote
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business analysts, UI/UX team, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel to remote work sites for clients as needed
