DevSecOps Engineer - Remote Capabilities 

LufCo is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer to join a small team environment supporting the Army. This position is remote with 40% travel requirements to Havre de Grace and Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD locations.

The DevSecOps Engineer will work in a small, agile team to provide the development environment and improvements to a GPU based wideband spectrum analysis library for military and government RF sensing systems. This position supports application deployments into cloud native / helm / Kubernetes deployments for commercial and open-source application stacks used by the software development team.

What You'll Need:
  • A Security Clearance will be required to support this effort. (All that are eligible to obtain a clearance are welcome to apply).
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
  • DoD8570 Certification (Security +) may be obtained, required 6 months after hire. 
  • OS-Based/Cloud Certification (Cloud Native / Kubernetes Certification preferred, such as CKA, but AWS/Linux Certifications accepted.) May be obtained, required 6 months after hire.
  • 5+ years experience with agile development.
  • AWS Experience.
  • Kubernetes Experience.

Desired Experience:
  • Working with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Working with the Security Lead to ensure that the tools are compliant with security requirements.
  • Working with the Security Lead to streamline the ATO process from a tools and technical process perspective.
  • Working with the Testing Lead to automate testing where possible.
  • Working with the Operations Lead to ensure that the CI/CD processes align with operational requirements.
