Position Type: Full-time, Contract, In-Person
Duration: 8 Weeks
Compensation: $17.60 hourly
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Reports to: Director of Finance

Responsible for supporting the Finance Department in areas such as bank and accounts reconciliation, invoice entries, petty cash reporting and other related accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares banks and accounts reconciliation
- Process petty cash, Account Receivable and Account Payable daily
- Inputs data into various databases
Education:
- Pursing or Completed education in B Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
Skills & Experience:
- Previous Accounting experience an asset
- Highly detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organization skills and accurate filing and record keeping
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality of information
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly action-oriented and results-oriented
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-cultural team
Requirements:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment. Please note that international students are not eligible to apply.
