Power & Construction Group has an opening for a CDL-A Driver!

JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible to deliver materials and/or equipment throughout New York, providing support for our expanding warehouse operations.

REPORTS TO:  Director of Material Management

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Haul materials to and from job sites in compliance with all DOT/FMCSA regulations
• Support the day to day operation of warehouse
• Operate forklift inside warehouse
• Operate all-terrain tele-handler outside the warehouse
• Prepare stored products for delivery and maintain accurate records
• Ability to use MS Excel and Outlook

• Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.

• Ability to drive CMV with manual transmission is preferred
• Valid and clean NY State CDL, Class A
  • Preference given to those with a Steel Coil Endorsement
• Ability to pass and maintain a current DOT physical
• Minimum of 2 years relevant driving experience
• Have no lifting or physical restrictions
• Possess a solid knowledge of DOT regulations and load securement requirements
• OSHA 10 certified
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with the public and clients
• Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather
• Demonstrate safe and proper use and maintenance of all company tools and equipment

Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check and driver's license check, and candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.
