Power & Construction Group is adding a Journeyman Electrician to the team!

Position Summary: The Journeyman Electrician will work within commercial / Industrial and utility projects.  

Requirements:

  • Adequate physical ability
  • Mechanical skills
  • Blueprint reading
  • Project layout skills
  • Conduit bending (both power and hand bending)
  • Conduit threading (both power and hand threading)
  • Experience in building services
  • Layout of underground services

The ideal candidate:

  • Has the ability to think ahead and plan within timelines and resources; develop scopes, plan and schedule work; set priorities and goals; participate in problem solving and adjust for problems; evaluate workloads; measure and evaluate performance against established goals.
  • Has the ability to successfully plan and implement objectives within established guidelines.
  • Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Is a strong team player

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

  • Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
  • Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Cannot have a fear of heights
Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check and driver's license check, and candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.

This is a non-management position
