Gas Division Laborer – Immediate Opening
Power & Construction Group is adding Gas Division Laborers to the team. The gas division performs installations and maintenance of gas mains, services, and regulator stations.
REPORTS TO: Foreman
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Any offer of employment is contingent upon passing a DOT Physical, drug screen, background check and driver's license check, and candidates must maintain passing results throughout the term of employment with P&CG.
Power & Construction Group is adding Gas Division Laborers to the team. The gas division performs installations and maintenance of gas mains, services, and regulator stations.
REPORTS TO: Foreman
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Communicate and work with crew to complete jobs in a timely manner
- Manual labor, including but not limited to digging with a hand shovel or bar to expose live utilities, heavy lifting, climbing in and out of trenches
- Perform routine inspection and maintenance on equipment and tools
- Demonstrate safe and proper use of tools and equipment
- Employee reports directly to job site on a daily basis
- Reliable transportation to get to and from various jobsites
- Have no lifting or physical restrictions
- OSHA 10 Certification a plus, will train
- Work outdoors year-round in all types of weather
- NGA Gas Op Quals a plus, will train the right person
- Equipment knowledge a plus
- CDL-B license a plus, not required
