Job Title: Journeyman Electrician
Reports to: Project Manager
Compensation: $30-$45/hr plus prevailing wage opportunities

The Journeyman Electrician will work within commercial / industrial and utility projects.

- Adequate physical ability
- Mechanical skills
- Blueprint reading
- Project layout skills
- Conduit bending (both power and hand bending)
- Conduit threading (both power and hand threading)
- Experience in building services
- Layout of underground services
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has the ability to think ahead and plan within timelines and resources; develop scopes, plan and schedule work; set priorities and goals; participate in problem solving and adjust for problems; evaluate workloads; measure and evaluate performance against established goals.
- Has the ability to successfully plan and implement objectives within established guidelines.
- Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Is a strong team player
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Work involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises.
- Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 50 pounds.
- Cannot have a fear of heights.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment (up to 50 pounds or more).
- Stamina to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise tasks.
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.
- Good vision, including close-up and peripheral vision, for detailed inspections.
- Hearing ability to diagnose engine and equipment noises.
