Motion Canada, a leading distributor of industrial MRO (maintenance, repair and operation replacement) parts, and the largest Bearing and Power Transmission Company in NA is currently recruiting a Machinist for a CNC Mill Programmer position in our North Bay, Ontario location. The key responsibilities include producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years’ experience in using and/or programming CNC Milling machines & Lathes
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Solid mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledgeable in the properties of metal and other material
  • Ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manuals
  • High school diploma or equivalent with strong math skills
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision & be an effective team player
