Tailored Day Services Specialist (Richmond, CA)

Job Title: Tailored Day Services (TDS) Specialist
Pay: $23.25 per hour
Location: Richmond, CA (Serving all of Contra-Costa County)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: Approximately 25-30 hours per week

VistAbility is a mission-driven organization supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We're seeking a compassionate and motivated TDS Specialist to provide individualized, community-based services that promote independence, self-determination, and personal growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with disabilities in areas of employment exploration, mobility, education, and community engagement
• Develop and implement individualized service plans (ISPs)
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and building real-world skills
• Build relationships with local businesses, schools, and community resources
• Document progress, attend meetings, and maintain professional communication in all interactions
• Ensure participant safety, dignity, and choice in all settings

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience supporting people with disabilities
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently in community settings and collaboratively as a part of a team
• Proficiency in basic tech tools (MS Word, email, documentation systems)
• Valid CA driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
