About the role:  

The Digital Media Specialist provides strategic support to clients as it relates to website, lead generation, digital marketing, marketing automation, content management, and customer relationship management projects.  Working in collaboration with, and under the advisement of Sr. Strategists, the Digital Media Specialist executes digital marketing and UX concepts, ideas, and strategic deliverables.  This individual must quickly develop an understanding of marketing and digital strategies as well as overall business and web and marketing technology acumen.    

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Define business, marketing and solution requirements, as presented or obtained from client stakeholders. 

  • Effectively communicate strategies and performance trends during monthly reports to clients to develop strategy based on the data 

  • Provide instructions, recommendations, and guidance on content plan, elements, and strategy needed to meet business objectives. 

  • Manage and implement successful digital media campaigns which show efficiency, volume, and revenue/lead goals  

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of digital media campaigns while offering recommendations to improve 

  • Execute search marketing tactics including bid management, keyword research/development, ad copy creation, campaign performance tracking and reporting, and testing 

  • Advise clients on how to achieve maximum ROI by utilizing marketing techniques, including but not limited to: mobile/location bid adjustments, multiple match type structure, Remarketing Lists for Search Ads, and Dynamic Search Ads 

  • Execute paid social tactics such as audience definitions and planning, bid strategy selection, ad copy creation and creative strategy, conversion tracking setup and optimization to client goals 

  • Manage landing page optimizations and testing recommendations for campaigns 

  • Assist teammates and clients with on target recommendations of site architecture, content organization, searching systems, and labeling.  

  • Assist in the creation and development of integrated marketing plans, both online and offline. 

  • Manage and implement paid search campaigns utilizing Google AdWords, including campaign recommendations, implementation, analysis, and management. 

  • Create measurement strategies and work with the development team to ensure that tracking code is implemented accurately.  

  • Advise clients on e-mail marketing best practices, set-up e-mail lists/segments/campaigns and tracking codes utilizing common e-mail marketing software. 

  • Showcase  user experience and marketing automation strategies and practices. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Web Design or similar and/or equivalent work experience.  

  • Knowledge of creating and managing paid media campaigns 

  • Demonstrated foundational knowledge of digital marketing, marketing automation or web technology. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on articulating data and strategic analysis of data to clients. 

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to varying client industries, landscapes, technological limitations, and budgets. 

  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Ads.
