Silver Spring Foods, Inc., located in Eau Claire, WI has an immediate opening for a night sanitation technician (5:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

The basic function of the Sanitation Technician is to maintain a high quality environment for production. This involves knowledge of production, equipment, sanitation techniques, to ensure that equipment is clean and sanitized for production.

MAIN DUTIES

Responsible for ensuring that production area and equipment is sanitized properly. This includes assembly and dis-assembly of production equipment.

Responsible for general maintenance of production equipment and factory facility.

Maintains close communication with the Sanitation Supervisor so as to provide and obtain information regarding sanitation/maintenance activities.

Responsible for keeping a clean and safe work area.

Requires 1-2 years previous manufacturing and/or sanitation experience, preferably in a food processing facility.
