Sellen’s Office & Facilities Assistant is an integral part of the team that makes our office run smoothly and makes our place a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.  This person is always on the move, assisting people, and solving the day-to-day facilities problems that arise.  This position handles a wide variety of tasks including: mail delivery, stocking kitchen areas, brewing coffee, scheduling building and vehicle maintenance, preparing materials and mail for collection, and light building maintenance.  While there is some routine tasks and schedule, no two days are ever the same.   
A day in the life:
  • Manage, maintain organize and ensure cleanliness for interior areas (ie. conference rooms) as well as exterior areas (ie. parking areas) of Sellen’s Main Office.
  • Provide clerical support for administrative tasks from mail pick up and distribution to data entry and assembling binders.
  • Provide back up to the Receptionist.
  • Test, trouble shoot and perform basic maintenance duties at Sellen’s Main Office including but not limited to plumbing maintenance, inventory maintenance, and basic repairs.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all external maintenance vendors.

The right candidate responds well to changing priorities, organizes and tracks their to-do list.   The person who is hands-on with the small stuff and proactive in calling in the experts for larger projects will be recognized for providing residents of the office with a great place to work.  As the Office and Facilities Assistant, this person works with people from all areas of our company and enjoys seeing that others have what they need to be successful, comfortable, and productive.

Position Requirements:  A High School degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education. A combined two to three years of experience performing both administrative tasks and maintenance coordination. Experience with MS Office Suite.
