Our Desktop & Mobile Device Systems Administrator oversees and administers every aspect of Sellen’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) services and PBX system.  They use their passion for customer service to serve as a resource for others at Sellen in the learning and adoption of mobile device technology.  The Desktop & Mobile Device Systems Administrator also collaborates with others in the Technology department to provide technical support in the resolution of escalated help desk requests, workstation deployments, and light network and systems administration.

A day in the life of Sellen’s Desktop & Mobile Device  Systems Administrator:
  • Procure, configure, deploy, manage and recycle Sellen Mobile devices using Mobile Device Management program.
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of data plans and plan usage.
  • Work with external vendors to understand new and emerging technologies and ensure that the needs and technical support of Sellen’s employees are met.
  • Configure, manage and maintain the main office PBX system and its associated desk phones.
  • Provide mobile device ad PBX system training and technical support to end users when needed.
  • Work with others in IT support to solve issues including desktop support, deploy work stations, and administer systems.

The ability to stay organized along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail make it easy for the Desktop & Mobile Device Systems Administrator to prioritize their diverse workload and troubleshoot problems as they arise.                                                                                                                                                                          
Position Requirements:  A Bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent work experience and education and 2+ years working in a help desk role providing IT support, user solutions and managing mobile devices.  Experience with Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP), Microsoft Office and O365 and iOS devices are important.
