Sellen’s Community Outreach and Events Coordinator will have a unique and special opportunity to connect with communities inside and outside of Sellen to make a difference in people’s lives.  The ideal candidate enjoys learning about others around them and finding meaningful opportunities to make connections. Never shying away from a chance to jump in and support their fellow teammates, they work collaboratively to tell the Sellen story to the community. Using excellent multitasking abilities and strong attention to detail, our Community Outreach and Events Coordinator manages schedules, budgets, and event logistics and vendors.

A day in the life of our Community Outreach and Events Coordinator:
  • Collaborate with internal champions on all aspects of philanthropic and volunteering programs including but not limited to goal setting, volunteer coordination, and promotion. 
  • Manage Sellen’s outreach and philanthropy process providing budget updates, serving as the primary point of contact for the Sellen Community Foundation, and coordinating attendance to Sellen sponsored events.
  • Organize Sellen sponsored volunteer events and promote the use of Sellen’s Volunteering efforts.
  • Partner with others to build the company’s annual events schedule and serve as the primary point of contact to plan, organize, and run up to 12 Sellen-hosted events a year.

Position Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of work experience and education and 2+ years of experience in a similar role. The Community Outreach and Events Coordinator needs to have strong budget management skills, event planning experience, and exceptional computer skills including MS Office programs and experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
