Accountabilities:
 
  • Respond to event inquiries via telephone & email  regarding hosting events (weddings, social and corporate clients, licensees) in one of our four venue spaces
  • Offer support and guidance to all prospective clients, welcome them into the brewery, showcase the venue and effectively communicate the expectations and procedures specific to our venue
  •  Prepare quotes, conduct inspections and event booking
  • Mediate between suppliers and clients to ensure that all event details are documented, and accounted for with expectations appropriately outlined
  •  Order rentals, assess staffing levels, coordinate bar packages and prepare floor plans (as required)
  • Communicate event details and expectations to our team of event staff pre event
  • Greet clients on event day and introduce them to the supervisor onsite
  • Create, update and edit event documents as necessary
  • Adhere to the alcohol regulations, ensuring that all guests have appropriate license
  • Carry out special projects for events depending on changing needs
  • Contribute in the development of new projects, train event staff, and participate in supplier meetings to facilitate continued growth and improvement to the success of the event operations and venue
  • Complete various administrative tasks including updating the event calendar and event tasks (in Outlook), event prep packages and input/update data for monthly venue reports in Navision Assist with various special events as requested

  • Driver’s license required
  • Venue, event or catering experience required
This is a full-time 5 day a week role, with 2 consecutive days off with some weekends and evening shifts.
Days off will be consistently set and be comprised of one of the following:  Friday/Saturday, or
Sunday/Monday, or
Monday/Tuesday
based on the needs of the department
