Land Survey Intern (LSI) (Meridian, ID)
Well-established Meridian, Idaho civil/survey engineering firm is seeking Land Survey Intern or equivalent to join our Meridian Survey group. LSI Certificate a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of survey experience
- Strong knowledge of boundary, construction, and topographic surveying
- Have a good understanding of construction plans and subdivision plats
- Ability to draft Subdivision Plats, Records of Survey, ALTAs and prepare boundary descriptions
- Strong skills using AutoCAD/Civil3D and Trimble Business Canter
- Experience with GPS receivers and controllers as well as Robotic total stations
- Ability to physically perform the requirements of the position (must be able to lift 50 pounds)
- Organized and flexible within the work environment
- Demonstrate willingness, enthusiasm and positive attitude
- Maintain good attendance and show up on time
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather as well as in a professional office environment
- Have good communication skills and be a team player
- Professional personal appearance is required
- Possess a current Idaho driver’s license in good standing & ability to operate company owned vehicles, including ATVs
Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating daily crew tasks and assignments
- Review and complete project tasks, on time and within budget
- Perform project research and set up
- Daily data and field note reduction, QA / QC field data, etc.
- Perform boundary calculations for Records of Survey and Subdivision Plats
- Draft Plats and Surveys utilizing Civil 3D to company standards
- Research and preparation of boundary descriptions
- Perform calculations that may be needed for construction
- Both Office work and fieldwork will be required, as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned
