Business friends, Maria, who is a manager at TCFV, and Tracy, who is looking to change jobs, have met for coffee to catch up on each other’s professional lives. They won’t mind if we drop in on their conversation for a few moments…
Did you know TCFV has created a new Office Coordinator position? With your organizational skills and ability to stay atop lots of details and tasks at once from your past experience, it seems ideal for you.
What’s the job about?
You do the things it takes to keep an office running smoothly: handle the mail, prepare the bank cash deposit, order supplies, maintain the appropriate records, and help new employees get situated. There are more components, of course… A big one is to ensure guests have a good experience. With your charm and hostess skills, I know you would welcome them as if they were coming into your home.
One thing that’s important to me: What’s the culture like at TCFV? You’ve been there 5 years, and you’ve been promoted from coordinator to manager. Day to day, what do you like about working there?
The people are passionate about their work for survivors of domestic violence. A bunch of wickedly smart, capable, innovative women and men who go the extra mile for the agencies we support and for each other too.
Wow! I’d like to be part of that. It sounds exciting and gratifying.
Would you like to be part of this dynamic environment and provide support for a group of advocates who work every day to help promote better service to survivors of domestic violence so they can re-direct their lives to healthy, safe paths?
To apply, please remember to include a cover letter and a current resume.
TCFV offers paid medical/dental benefits, vacation time and a great retirement program.
