Web Developer / Designer - Martech (AL; Atlanta; ...)

Martech Front End Developer Position Summary This is a key role within the Martech team at The Wellness Company. You’ll be building out highly engaging platforms allowing our customers the ability to direct their own health and wellness. Working with a highly skilled and motivated team, you’ll use your skills to build an unparalleled customer experience – and simultaneously gain opportunities to expand your own knowledge, experience, and personal growth.

Responsibilities

· Developing front end single and multi-brand eCommerce sites on Shopify + other platforms

· Turning design into reality

· Developing and modifying Shopify themes

· Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to Shopify

· Extending Shopify’s functionalities to the next level using storefront APIs, liquid programming, metafields, etc.

· Integrating and third-party and platform supported apps for building, converting, optimizing, and tracking the user experience.

· Working with various vendors to troubleshoot applications.

· Configuring all aspects of the internal finance platform

· Page speed optimization of Shopify sites

· Transforming complex layout PSDs and Figma layouts into great-looking HTML5/CSS3 templates

· Creating responsive website designs

· Handling multiple projects at the same time

· Producing high quality of work with a strong focus on detail

· Thoroughly QA work prior to production

Qualifications and Requirements

· Strongly skilled at developing new eCommerce or other sites from scratch or from an existing design

· Expertise in theme development and customization

· Expert-level knowledge of formatting, SEO, and copywriting

· Proven expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/ECMA Script 5/6

· Proficient working with various APIs (storefront, AJAX Cart, Sections etc)

· Proficient integrating communication and tracking mechanisms for analysis

· Strong understanding of cross platform compatibility issues, responsive web design techniques, W3C web standards/semantics, and accessibility guidelines

· Highly organized with the ability to frequently balance on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

· Positive and upbeat attitude with the ability to learn quickly and share knowledge gained with the team

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in eCommerce platforms.

· Knowledge of SCSS (preferred)

· Excellent written and spoken English at the 3rd year university level.
