The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising various operational activities within the organization to ensure efficient processes, high-quality products/services, and achievement of organizational goals. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resources effectively.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service and warehouse operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall performance.
- Responsible for timely completion of assigned projects, and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, operational parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
- Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee inventory management, procurement, and distribution processes to maintain adequate stock levels and minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies throughout all operational processes.
- Assists with, or prepares and updates, organizations operations manual and policies.
- Oversee project safety and quality control on all projects.
- Ensures quality compliance through use of specifications and setting quality standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Manages the selection, training, development, appraisal and work assignments of all customer service personnel, and procurement specialist. Has direct involvement with hiring, firing, promotions, and assignments.
EDUCATION
- Associates degree in related field required.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
- OSHA 10 Safety Training preferred.
- Project Management Professional a plus.
- Lean Management Certified a plus
- Two (2) years of experience in project management or related preferred.
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of industry related experience.
