We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Manager to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based out of our head office in Milton, Ontario.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Manager will play a key role in the management reporting and monthly income statement analysis cycle. This position is ideal for professionals who are looking for an opportunity for career growth and wanting to add value to a fast-growing organization.

  • Perform any other duties assigned from time to time
  • Support branches with yearly budget creation and 3-month rolling forecast
  • Perform financial analysis on actual versus last year (and budget) on financial performance
  • Assist in coordinating and completing the month end and year end close process
  • Implement financial policies and procedures
  • Ensure consistency of management accounting rules across all branches
  • Support in the creation and implementation of management accounting rules at branch level
  • Prepare monthly branch P&L’s – Traffix USA and Traffix Logistics
  • Daily bank reporting
  • Full-cycle accounting – Canadian and US Entities (Traffix Trucks and Traffix Fleet)
  • Good command of both written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word is a must, knowledge of ERP software would be an advantage
  • "Can-do" attitude; flexible and willing to learn about new practices, Company culture and execute new initiatives
  • Exposure in express delivery or logistics industry preferred
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in full cycle accounting
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or above, major in financial accounting or equivalent
  • US, Canadian or International CPA/CA
