The sales team plays a critical role in the continuous growth of TRAFFIX. We are looking for enthusiastic, driven, high performers to join our team.

As a Senior Sales Executive / Sales Executive, your primary function will be to generate new business opportunities, and to nurture and grow existing partnerships. You will be the primary point of contact with potential customers and will play a crucial role in closing new business. You will be expected to conduct yourself in compliance with the TRAFFIX brand and contribute to the positive culture in the Oakville branch. 

You will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

Primary Objectives:

  • Target new and existing prospects
  • Convert Prospects into New Business for TRAFFIX
  • Maximize level of business and strengthen relationship with existing customers
  • Build strong sustainable partnerships with clients and prospects
  • Exemplify TRAFFIX values and strategic goals
  • Ongoing personal/professional development

Position Details

  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads
  • Develop customer accounts and grow TRAFFIX market share with new and existing customers
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business
  • Developing and executing strategic plans to achieve Sales team targets
  • Desire to own projects and exceed expectations, with ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture
  • Analyze pipeline and lead data to develop strategic short and long term plans to close prospects
  • Drive new business through all communication means including face to face meetings
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual targets
  • Create a great first impression to our prospects and customers by providing them with a world class experience
  • Identify customer needs to determine how our solutions would be a good fit
  • Manage multiple lead sources and work to consistently develop the pipeline
  • Work with stakeholders to develop strategies and identify new business opportunities
  • Run the entire sales cycle, from discovery to close
  • Ability to identify and solve client issues by strategically incorporating a TRAFFIX solution
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as defined by management

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven sales experience, meeting and exceeding targets
  • Ability to prepare and summarize reports and forecasts. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reporting and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong listening, verbal and written communication
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a competitive, dynamic and quota-driven environment
  • Keen business sense, with the ability to find creative business-oriented solutions to problems
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience

  • Consistently met and exceeded sales targets (solid career track record in sales)
  • Experience in the transportation industry required
  • Existing network of industry relationships preferred
  • Previous sales management experience preferred

Physical Demands

  • Periodic travel required

Ability to use a wide range of practical problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment
