Responsibilities:

•    Negotiate rates, provide costs to sales/account managers and cover shipments
•    Strategically develop carrier relationships for ongoing business using historical data, lane analysis, and professional experience
•    Provide expert advice on cost, capacity and other industry variables affecting price to sales/account managers 
•    Maintain communication with sales, account management and customer service throughout the life cycle of the shipment
•    Assist customer service in updating and maintaining tracking information proactively on TRAFFIX TMS system
•    Advise and counsel on industry happenings to other department and key personnel

Qualifications:

•    2+ years of carrier sales or related experience 
•    Ability to utilize TMS and navigate software / computer programs
•    Proficiency in MS Office suite
•    Excellent communication skills (Fluency in 2 or more languages is considered an asset)
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt quickly based on customer needs/market fluctuations
