POSITION SUMMARY:

Working closely with our Customer Sales team, the LTL Pricing Analyst will provide support in the way of reviewing customer's LTL requirements and providing customized pricing strategies that align with TRAFFIX corporate rates.  The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring our client’s LTL carrier network and identifying potential gaps; analyzing carrier contracts and reviewing carrier performance KPI's. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • In cooperation with Branch Management and the Sales team, develop an understanding our TRAFFIX LTL client's needs
  • Assist our sales team in analyzing the needs of potential new clients
  • Recommend customized pricing solutions for current and potential clients
  • Maintain customer contracts which will include regular reviews to ensure clients are complying with agreed upon terms
  • Present data to other functional areas in clear and understandable language, graphs, and/or charts
  • Review the profitability of existing LTL accounts and make appropriate recommendations where necessary
  • Present the LTL team with data highlighting carrier performance, market trends, department growth, and cost/profit forecasts
  • Assist the LTL team with rebills when required
  • Analyze carrier proposals and present recommendations to management 
  • Complete analysis of the existing LTL carrier network and present recommended adjustments to management for consideration
  • Maintain pricing to ensure carrier rates match those in the TRAFFIX TMS
  • Execute pricing implementations

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 2 years in logistics. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience will not be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required (Candidates with equivalent experience may be considered)
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to present recommendations clearly 
  • Must pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite; especially Excel
  • The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of LTL class-rate tariffs, accessorials, and mileage rates.
  • Self motivated with the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as a key member of the team
