The Credit Supervisor looks after the on-boarding and set-up of all Customer accounts with a view on maximizing revenues while minimizing organizational risk. Capable of driving enhancements and change in processes, while developing new skills.

• Analyze customer financial condition and establish customer credit lines using Financial Statements, D & B, Credit Risk Monitor and Credit Scoring
• Set-up new customers and resolve any after-hours data loading issues.
• Establish Customer Credit worthiness through Credit Scoring, Financial Assessment, and Trade references.
• Approval of new accounts and credit limit changes on existing accounts following the Credit limit authority matrix.
• Issuance of demand letters and placement of accounts into 3rd party collections.
• Continuous follow-up with 3rd party collections on accounts placed with internal reporting.
• Collection and reconciliation of Domestic and International customer portfolios.
• Research and evaluation of data to make informed decisions and solve problems.
• Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
• Works closely and under the direction of the Credit & Collections Manager.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CCP Designation or pursuing.
• 5+ years’ experience in Credit or Financial Services.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft office products.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, proven ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency and initiative.
• Self-starter, ability to timely manage own and team workflow and priorities in a fast-paced work environment. Able to handle queries, questioning, and challenging of credit decisions and assumptions.
• Ability to isolate issues and find creative ways to solve problems. Use sound judgment in decision-making that benefits the organization.
• Sense of discretion and willingness to maintain strict confidentiality of pertinent and sensitive information.
• Strong work ethics and positive team attitude.
