POSITION RESPONSIBILITES
  • Develop and maintain employee records.
  • Update database internally (ADP Workforce Now).
  • Plan human resources requirements in conjunction with employment law.
  • Be the first point of contact for employees on any HR-related inquiries.
  • Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements.
  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contributes to the development of policies.
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience.
  • Provide support of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment process as needed.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years’ experience in an Administration role
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or equivalent
  • CHRP Designation preferred
  • Canada Labour Code knowledge is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and communication tools
  • Meticulous attention to detail
