What is a Sales Executive?

As a TRAFFIX Sales Executive you will play a vital role in the achievement of branch targets and TRAFFIX business goals. Your primary responsibility will be identifying companies experiencing challenges with their supply chain
transportation network and presenting TRAFFIX’ suite of services and expertise as an optimal solution.
You will be the primary point of contact for potential TRAFFIX customers and will play a crucial role in closing new business.

 You will be the liaison between TRAFFIX and the clients in your care. Your top  responsibility will be to build a strong, professional relationship with your clients.
To do this, you will listen to their needs and assess the challenges they have. In coordination with the Operations team, you will design unique solutions using TRAFFIX wide range of transportation services to provide the client with value, while making their jobs easier.

You will be the frontline contact for the customer and their best friend at TRAFFIX! When a problem arises, or we do not meet expectations, you will work with the client and your team to correct the issue, provide prompt and truthful communication to the customer, and follow up to identify how TRAFFIX can make up for the service failure.


What does a day in the life of Sales Executive look like?
A day in the life of a TRAFFIX Sales Executive could include some or all of    the following:
  • Prospecting for companies that ship freight within North America (Mexico-USA and Canada)
  • Bring current customer portfolios to TRAFFIX
  • Researching companies/contacts in preparation for initial call
  • Cold calling and/or cold emailing prospects to initiate conversations
  • Identifying business opportunities within new and current customers
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Monitoring trends and changes in customer purchase behaviour and following up to determine the root cause
  • Collaborating with TRAFFIX experts to set up discovery calls and in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers
  • Lead your team in generating pricing strategies that fit the client’s budget while supporting the success of the Mexico’s branch
  • Be accountable to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in Spanish & English
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Meet TRAFFIX Sales KPI Goals per month 
  • Prospecting minimum 10 potential customers per week
  • New Customers: 2 per month minimum
  • Support AP for all collection needs required
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth and development
  • Assist customers with inquiries and information requests and, as necessary, manage service failures and client responses
  • Support collections with our Billing Relations team
  • Bring to TRAFFIX reliable carriers to help to build the business

Who are you?
After working for at least four (5) years with a 3PL and/or Forwarding in a sales role(Mandatory), you have become an expert at bypassing gatekeepers, identifying decision makers, and closing business! You are a self starter, able to work independently, and are incentive driven. Hunting for new business fuels your passion for sales. Cultivating lasting customer relationships plays on your strengths including being able to efficiently handle client challenges and use emotional intelligence to guide your interactions.

You are a problem solver – when a client presents you with a challenge you don’t get stumped; instead, the wheels in your mind start turning to generate solutions! You are excited about collaborating with the TRAFFIX team of experts to curate solutions that will optimize your client’s transportation network while achieving sales success for TRAFFIX.

You are an excellent communicator and are comfortable speaking with prospects working in the warehouse of medium sized companies up to C-Suite executives.

You must be perceived as an Active New Customer Seacher with an Active Portfolios of customers.

You holds a Bachelor’s degree and have a proficiency English level(at least Business).

Finally, complacency drives you crazy! You don’t believe in “getting comfortable” – you want to constantly be growing your book of business.
