Thanks for your interest in the Clatsop WORKS program.

Clatsop WORKS provides Clatsop County students, ages 16 and up, with exposure to professional paid internship opportunities in Clatsop County. To qualify, students must be currently enrolled at, or a recent graduate of, a Clatsop County High School, Clatsop County alternative or training school, or Clatsop Community College. Clatsop County home-school students may also apply.


Program goals for interns:
  • Build application, resume, and interview skills
  • Develop work ethic and professionalism
  • Learn career readiness and technical skills
  • Network with local businesses and explore career options in Clatsop County

Important information for applicants:
  • Submission of this application does not guarantee an internship.
  • Once your application has been processed, the Clatsop WORKS Program Manager will reach out to you with information on what to expect next.
  • Host employers will contact you for interviews beginning in April. The usual method is by phone, though some employers may reach out by email. Please check your voicemail and emails regularly for interview requests from potential employers.
  • Employers will require you to participate in their standard hiring procedures, including application and interview processes, up to and including background checks and drug screenings.
