Lower School Mandarin Teacher- One-year Sabbatical coverage
Winsor seeks an energetic, enthusiastic, and dedicated Lower School Mandarin Chinese teacher for a full-time sabbatical replacement position for the 2026 fall semester. Candidates should demonstrate native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese, as well as fluency in English. Strong candidates will have 2-3 years of teaching experience, a solid knowledge of Chinese cultures, and experience using a variety of pedagogical approaches to effectively teach non-native speakers and Chinese heritage learners.
A bachelor’s degree is required, and a master’s degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to community and inclusion work and an understanding of the importance of teacher engagement in community life. The ability to use technology effectively in the teaching and learning process is also important.
