Role Summary
Join the White Barn Inn as a Steward and become one of the authors of our story. This position provides support for the culinary team in our effort to provide outstanding dining and customer service every day.


Core Responsibilities
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans, using dishwasher or by hand.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner
  • Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or service
  • Sweep or scrub floors
  • Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
  • Sort or remove trash placing it in designated pickup areas
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. 
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
 Required Qualifications
  • Professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
  • Able to work on a flexible schedule, including week-ends and holidays, according to department needs.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to to stand for at least 8 hours
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 35 pounds
