Company Description
Walsh & Associates, Church Capital Campaign Specialists, works exclusively with churches helping them to prepare for and implement highly successful capital campaigns to raise funds for new building, renovation, expansion, debt reduction, plant maintenance, endowment and various other special and substantial needs.  We take a faith based, highly hands-on and personal outreach oriented approach to our work and provide the most extensive and effective capital campaign services available to churches that have proven and are guaranteed to get the best results possible over all other alternatives.

 Summary:           
Part to full time hourly wage position assisting with English and Spanish writing projects for our clients and company. 

Client Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with consultants in the development of a compelling theme for church capital campaigns.
  • Collaborates with and assists our consultants with the structure and content of their case statements.    

Company Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the research, writing and/or editing of various client service materials.
  • Assists in the research, writing and/or editing of our various company marketing and operational materials. 
  • Develops and refines our “writing specialists” operations manual.
  • Any other duties that may be required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to write in a conversational, compelling and persuasive way and to touch a reader emotionally.
  • Strong and active faith life and total buy in to company operating philosophy and mission.
  • Knowledge of church traditions and language and direct experience in working with churches of various denominations.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, consistently meet tight deadlines and work yet remain calm under pressure.
  • At least three years of experience writing for both business to consumer and a business to business audiences.

Compensation:
  • Compensation includes hourly salary commensurate with experience.
