Position Summary:
The Sr. Analyst, Compensation and Benefits is responsible for providing analytical and operational support to the benefits and compensation function. The incumbent will have the ability to perform mathematical calculations in computing rates, premiums and adjustments ensuring that Inmar’s benefit and compensation program is competitive and equitable so that the company attracts and retains the talent necessary to win. The Sr. Analyst will specialize in California benefit and compensation laws as well has a deep understanding of the labor market competitiveness. The Sr. Analyst will also develop, maintains and administers the company’s salary administration process and various domestic compensation programs including variable compensation. The analyst partners with GT! members to ensure job descriptions are current, relevant and accurate. This position is also responsible for assuring thorough audits, reports and personal contact that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Primary Accountabilities:
  • Operational (65%)
  • Monitors eligibility, limitations, and restrictions of plan participations and ensures compliance with both plan provisions and government requirements specializing in CA state laws.
  • Administers incentive plans accurately calculating all monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial incentives for multiple plans, including quarterly focal reviews for each bonus cycle.
  • Collaborates with senior leadership and human resources on a variety of projects, including incentive program design, analysis, budgeting, and implementation of new programs, equity elections, benefits analysis, and workforce planning.
  • Complete annual benchmarking researching industry and employment trends, tracking legislation to provide recommendations for necessary revisions to Inmar total reward programs.
  • Manages position documentation, databases and tables related to job codes and job families
  • Monitor sales activity for compliance with established incentive plan guidelines
  • Provides expertise and leads efforts to help ensure Inmar’s benefit and compensation programs are aligned with the company’s performance-based compensation philosophy
  • Keeps apprised of federal, state and local benefit and compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure company compliance; assists in labor strategies
  • Coordinates the design and communication of annual benefit enrollment materials and Total Reward Statements

  • Prepares statistical analysis, data modeling and costing of base and variable compensation to ensure the total expense of compensation aligns with corporate costing structure
  • Conducts and participates in appropriate salary surveys, interpreting data and performing analysis
  • Provides analysis and support to ensure an optimal return on Inmar’s investments in human capital 
  • Administers benefits analysis on the cost impact to the company and associates.
  • Identifies and analyzes business problems and devises procedures and solutions to the problems.  
  • Develops, maintains and produces monthly, quarterly or annual reports, as required and provides insights into the trends. 
  • Uses financial acumen including performing financial and ad hoc analyses using advanced Excel functionality and provides recommendations based on results to senior management for strategic decision-making

  • Administer benefit and compensation plans in Workday supporting testing and data validation for benefit and compensation business processes and be a subject matter expert in workday benefits, absence, and advanced compensation modules.

Required Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred in Finance
  • 8+ years related work experience
  • Proficient with G-Suite
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Expert in Excel
  • Proficient with Workday
  • Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) Designation or
  • Certified Compensation Professional CCP
  • SHRM Certified Professional is a significant plus
