High volume!!! We are seeking experienced Bartender's to join our Front of House Team. We are looking for energetic personalities with strong food and beverage knowledge that can work well under pressure in a team environment. Candidate should be professional with a sense of humor. Seeking only those with a passion for hospitality to serve the best drinks and family style Italian food in Atlantic City, N.J. Experience necessary. Must be very personable, patient, organized, detailed oriented and accurate with money. Flexible schedule, able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
All positions require standing, walking, and lifting during the entire shift, using a computer terminal and a love of hospitality.
We are looking for barbacks for our very busy restaurant.
-If you have some hospitality or guest service experience
-Are extremely friendly
-Enjoy interacting with people
-Able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry product up and down stairs
-Excellent communication skills must verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests
-Language Skills - fluency in English is necessary to perform the job
-Must be able to read, and write English and properly and retrieve and record inventory
-Must be able to interact with guests sitting at the bar in a pleasant manner
-Must maintain tact and remain cool under pressure
-Willing to put in the effort and learn we can train you!
Essential Functions of the Busser position:
Principal duties are to provide guest by clearing tables, resetting tables to management’s specifications, serving bread, water service and wrapping leftovers
Bussers work as a team with the servers and bartenders
Follow server and bartenders directions, perform support tasks which help the servers and bartenders give attentive service
Restocking all glassware, silverware and dishware
Overall cleaning of the dining room floor and bar areas
Also responsible for some additional cleaning and sanitation
Knowledge of all table numbers and layouts
Respect for fellow employees and guests
Follow health and safety procedures laid out by management, city, state and federal requirements
Stands during the entire shift
Verbally communicates with guests, managers, servers, bartender's and back of house management during the entire shift
Reaches, bends and stoops frequently
May carry 20 to 30 lbs
Must maintain tact and remain cool under pressure
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Excellent communication skills - verbally interacts with management, servers, team members and guests
Language Skills - fluency in English is necessary to perform the job
