POSITION SUMMARY:
Workforce Go! is seeking a client-focused, highly energetic, and experienced individual to join our Professional Services team as a Payroll Implementation Consultant (IC). The IC will engage with the Professional Services on several client implementation projects for our company. In this role, an IC will provide consulting services and guidance, and ensure client Workforce Go! HCM deployment projects are performed and assist other Professional Services Team consultants with client configurations and testing as well as personally delivering other consulting services within new client projects. An IC will take on important roles for the business by collaborating with the Professional Services team members on every part of their assigned implementation tasks.

To ensure success as an IC, there will be a requirement for a significant understanding of business strategy, operations, and management as well as practical experience in delivering professional services and utilization of technology to perform those services. A top-notch IC is well-versed in business operations, technology, and the consulting best practices.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Working with clients and team members to understand their needs and to agree to the scope of each consulting project and task.
  • Conducting research, surveys, and interviews and analyzing data to gain insights into business and solution requirements.
  • Detecting issues and investigating ways to resolve them.
  • Assessing the pros and cons of possible strategies
  • Exploring business, and solution problems while presenting different solutions.
  • Attending meetings and compiling and presenting information orally, visually, and in writing to keep clients and team members up to date on progress.
  • Making recommendations for improvement and presenting those to clients and team members.
  • Developing and implementing new procedures or training to support the changes proposed.
  • Providing project-related insight and advice to other team members.
  • Presenting feedback and suggestions relating to the implementation of assigned projects.
  • Identifying, reporting, and resolving key project issues.
  • Ensuring that all project and implementation related documents are up to date.

CREDENTIALS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Professional experience with exposure to one or more of the following disciplines: consulting, research and analysis, knowledge management, strategic planning, product development, and/or project management.
  • A track record of successful implementation projects.
  • 3+ years of experience with implementing Payroll applications or as a payroll processor
  • Experience in the construction industry or implementing Payroll for Construction industry including work with Unions, Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage is a must
  • Experience with Time and Attendance applications is a plus
  • Analytical skills and strategic thinking are crucial to the role.
  • Deadline oriented and able to multitask.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to engage in large teams’ activities.
  • Proficiency in report-writing and presenting.
  • Able to plan, execute, and manage changes to project goals.
  • Knowledge of enterprise applications, web technology, cloud applications and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
  • 5 – 10 years’ relative business experience preferred.
  • Highly motivated and team oriented.
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow through.
  • Desire and ability to communicate and engage with clients.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel, ideally once per year.
