Position Summary:
The Junior Product Owner supports the development and management of products by prioritizing and evaluating work produced by the Technology teams. This role involves closely collaborating with the scrum team and other stakeholders to deliver features that meet business requirements while learning product ownership principles and practices. The Junior Product Owner acts as a bridge between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring software quality and functionality.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Support Product Development: Assist in managing the product development process to ensure a high-quality end product, providing input to enhance existing features and functionality. (Beginner)

Collaborate with Scrum Team: Work closely with the scrum team to understand requirements, support backlog grooming, and provide direction for ongoing projects. (Beginner)

Prioritize Work Items: Help set priorities for product features and bug fixes, ensuring the most critical items are addressed first while learning to balance business value and technical feasibility. (Beginner)

Facilitate Meetings: Schedule and lead team meetings to identify issues, gather feedback, and propose solutions to resolve problems efficiently. (Beginner)

Track and Monitor Performance: Assist in tracking product development progress, ensuring timely completion of deliverables according to the agreed-upon SLAs. (Beginner)

Gather and Analyze Data: Extract and analyze data sets to inform decision-making, improving software based on user feedback and metrics. (Beginner)

Support Roadmap Development: Contribute to creating roadmaps for products in the development phase, aligning with the company's strategic goals. (Beginner)

Credentials & Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred; an associate's degree or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: Some experience in a product-related role or a customer-facing position is preferred, demonstrating a willingness to learn product ownership responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work in an office environment; sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of

sufficient acuity to successfully perform all aspects of the job; use telephone and write or use a
keyboard to communicate through written means; lift up to ten pounds of weight.
Note: The base salary for this position is set at $60,000.00 plus annual bonus earning potential.
