Addison Reserve Country Club is seeking a Full-Time Personal Trainer to join our team of professionals.

Position Summary:
Perform personal training, conduct fitness classes, conduct fitness evaluations, and design fitness programs. Implement ideas to improve and motivate the lifestyle of our members/guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Able to enforce rules and regulations tactfully.
  • Communicate effectively in writing and/or expressively.
  • Greet every member/guest entering the facility.
  • Reports to shift dressed appropriately and on time.
  • Adhere to ARCC’s Standards and Guidelines.
  • Picks up loose weights, bands, balls, towels and other left articles.
  • Responsible for conducting fitness evaluations.
  • Responsible for safe program designs.
  • Check machines for dust, damage and any malfunctions.
  • Cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment.
  • Understand the POS and scheduling system.
  • Implements all operating procedures.
  • Keeps current with industry trends and makes recommendations for programming.
  • Answers questions about machines and exercises.
  • Performs body fat analysis and blood pressure checks.
  • Cater to member/guest request (bring towel, water, change television channel, adjust fan).
  • Observe our members/guest while exercising and provide feedback for a safer workout.
  • Understand phone system and answer phones.
  • Recommend fitness equipment.
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Be familiar with all opening and closing procedures.
  • Be able to make spa and fitness appointments when covering front desk.
  • Be able to ring up member services when covering front desk.
  • Be aware of all activities in fitness center and the children’s activity center.
    Circulate the Pool area assisting with the daily maintenance and cleaning of the entire deck area.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate with management effectively and tactfully.
  • Display team spirit out look tat promotes a positive and productive work environment.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Ability to take blood pressure with sphygmomanometer.
  • Needs a flexible schedule to work day, night, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift 20lbs over head.
  • Ability to explain in English clear and concise anatomic parts and exercise.
  • Education & Work Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 year personal training experience.
  • Current personal training certification required (NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology (or above certification, or completion from a recognized Personal Trainer course with above certification and diploma).
