Summary

Assisting guests prior, during and post arrival to ensure they have a memorable stay. Providing an array of services including dining reservation, winery bookings, transportation arrangements, local information,etc. While also operating the guest reception/front desk area with accurate and calm efficiency.

 

Essential Functions

  1. Create a genuine, informative, and personalized guest experience

  2. Maintain complete knowledge of property and other information including the following:

    1. All resort facilities/services offered and hours of operation

    2. All studio types, layout, attributes and locations

    3. All studio rates, special packages and promotions

    4. Daily stats, including availability (arrivals and departures)

    5. General info, descriptions and directions for local services, restaurants, wineries and points of interests

  3. Assist in guest reception to ensure a smooth and seamless operation from guest arrival to departure

  4. Assist and ensure effective guest challenge resolution - Ensure follow-through and exceed guests expectations when possible

  5. Ensure all billing and financial transactions are accurately and efficiently executed 

  6. Ensure that all guests receive personal, individual and professional treatment

 

Qualifications

Required

  1. Knowledge of Opera, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Docs, ALICE, Forbes Standards

  2. Cash handling experience

  3. Knowledge of the Northern California area (particularly the Napa Valley), its geography, wineries, restaurants, events, sights and other places of interest

  4. Ability to work flexible schedule, to include weekend and evenings as needed for the benefit of departmental coverage

  5. Ability to clearly communicate with guests, team members and management

  6. Minimum one to two years in same or similar position in a hotel/resort environment, luxury preferred 

  7. Excellent spoken and written English knowledge

  8. Ability to focus attention to details

  9. Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through
