Provide prompt, courteous and efficient handling of all requests for guest room reservations, changes, cancellations and information.  This position can work remotely.

  1. Create a genuine, informative, and personalized guest reservations experience.
  2. Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English, both verbal and written, using correct spelling and grammar, with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding, both in person and by telephone.
  3. Aptitude with computer database systems, Opera preferred.
  4. Ability to ascertain the caller's needs and comply with such to ensure caller's satisfaction.
  5. Ability to process written requests for room reservations.
  6. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of all guest and resort information.
  7. Ability to promote positive relations with all telephone callers.
  8. Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration, think clearly and follow up.
  9. Ability to focus attention on details, remain calm under pressure and process reservations requests quickly and accurately.
  10. Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team, remaining calm and with positive attitude.
  11. Maintain complete knowledge of the resort and other information including the following:
    1. All resort facilities/services offered and hours of operation.
    2. All room types, layout, décor, attributes and locations.
    3. All room rates, special packages and promotions.
    4. Daily stats, including availability.
    5. Entertainment/special events scheduled on property and in the area.
    6. Directions to the resort from airports and other major landmarks.
    7. General info, descriptions and directions for local services, restaurants, and points of interests.
  12. Utilize Navis Dashboard, and Navis best practices to Auberge Resorts company standards which include the following:
    1. Complete Navis education software with-in a 30 day window from initial hire date.
    2. Use/adopt Navis and Auberge Call Standards and apply them to use of sales techniques and strategies.
    3. Review calls daily to ensure call result accuracy, call compliance, completion of ELM lead forms.
    4. Actively participate and comply with bi-weekly coaching sessions with Supervisor/Manager.
    5. Proactively follow-up with any potential lead in an effective, hospitable, and timely manner.
  13. Assist and ensure effective guest challenge resolution.  Work closely with fellow guest service associates and other departments to resolve any challenges; ensure follow-through and exceed guest expectations when possible.
  14. Accurately input guest contact information. Add information to guest history such as; previous stay experience, special occasions, preferences, and other pertinent information.
  15. Ensure all billing and financial transactions are accurately and efficiently executed on behalf of guests.
  16. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all group organizers.
  17. Enter/update rooming lists and distribute reports to group contractors.
  18. Work on group billing according to contract and email history in a timely manner.
  19. Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Reservations Manager.
Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.


  1. Minimum two years in a service position or reservations position preferably at a luxury resort
  2. Ability to clearly communicate in English both verbal and written
  3. Must possess gracious people and sales skills, and have a positive personality

  1. Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing.   Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property. 
  2. Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger      dexterity.
  3. Occasional need to stand for long periods of time.     
  4. Lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. frequently and 25 lbs. occasionally.
  5. Vision requirements: constant need to view small print.  Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
  6. Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-way radio, respond to general public and converse with staff. Ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
