Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Receive and ship goods via UPS, FEDEX, freight, companies, etc.
Receive and store food, beverage, stationery and related goods.
Pull items from storage and fill requisitions
Interdepartmental errands-delivering boxes
Assist in food and beverage pricing and ordering
Perform daily food and beverage inventories and end of month count
Input daily paperwork so the department runs in an orderly fashion
Supervise the storeroom and purchasing department whenever the purchasing manager is out of house.
Maintenance of cleanliness and organization of the purchasing and receiving areas.
Special Projects as given by Purchasing Manager, General Manager, Executives, Owners
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Full time required to work 30 plus hours weekly.
Part time required to work less than 30 hours weekly.
Scheduled hours and days may vary based on need.

At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
Experience in hotels preferred.
High School Diploma.
Bi-lingual English, Spanish beneficial.
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write complex correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to employees of the organization. Ability to hold and comprehend phone conversations.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as accruals, percentages and payments. Ability to work with ease with US dollars.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems with several variables.
Use of a 10 key adding machine
Personal Computer Experience
Use of Word, Excel and Outlook and other proprietary computer programs
Certificates, licenses, registrations
College or university qualifications beneficial. Any in-house training sessions which the applicant has performed in past employment

Work Environment: Inside 100% of an 8 hour shift.

Literacy: Critical – Able to deal with written and reasoning skills. Ability to use short hand useful.
