Massage Therapist - On Call (Aspen, CO)

Role Summary
Join our team as a. On-Call Massage Therapist for Hotel Jerome, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by providing services to luxury resort guests in a boutique spa.

Pay Range
This is a non-exempt full-time, year-round position. The pay rate is $12.56 an hour plus gratuity.

Key Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates.   Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

• Ability to make guests feel physically and emotionally comfortable while providing services, including assisting guests in selecting services to best aid the guest in alleviating stress and body concerns.
• Ability to learn, remember, provide and adhere to all massage and spa treatment protocols as trained. 
• Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of human physiology.
• Follow-up with the Spa Director on all comments, concerns, and suggestions made by staff members, and resort guests.
• Explain and promote all spa and resort facilities, services, and activities.
• Follow sanitation procedures.
• Assist with tea service and communicate all other guest needs to the Spa Coordinator. 
• Assist other departments within the spa whenever necessary and available.
• Proper use of all spa facilities and equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of the menu of services and products.

Required Qualifications

• Certificate of completion from a State or Nationally certified school of massage indicating 200 hours of training in massage therapy and 100 hours of documented supervised experience.
• Ability to provide all Hotel Jerome spa treatments as outlined in the protocol manual.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, understanding of the relationship between the structure and function of the human body, understanding of the theory, contraindications, and benefits of massage therapy.
