Join our team as a Server for Hotel Jerome, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by taking food and beverage orders, retrieving and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest’s tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently.
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
- Understand and anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Handle guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Preferred 3 years of experience as an upscale dining room server.
