L&S Insulation (Milwaukee, WI), a subsidiary of Luse Contracting Group, is a Mechanical Insulation Contractor specializing in installing insulation of piping, ductwork, and mechanical equipment. L&S has been serving the SE Wisconsin market since 1923. We have a reputation for executing every project with excellence and integrity.
Where you come in: A well-run warehouse operation is a key component of the success of our construction business. You will be responsible for providing leadership in warehouse operations, directing warehouse colleagues, and ensuring that materials are delivered to jobsites on time.
More specifically, you will be responsible for:
· Loading and unloading material in an efficient and safe manner.
· Delivering material to job sites (driving a box truck).
· Picking orders for delivery.
· Moving product to storage areas with proper equipment.
· Efficiently stacking and storing material in the appropriate area.
· Participating in physical inventories, as needed.
· Meeting production standards.
· Conducting operations in a manner which promotes safety.
· Complying with OSHA standards.
· Performing other duties as assigned – may be required to perform duties outside of normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
Expectations for excellence in this position include:
· Clean driving record required.
· CDL helpful, but not required.
· Forklift experience.
· Ability to lift up to 50+lbs regularly.
· Adherence to attendance policy, showing up for work on time and ready to work assigned shift.
· Ability to work independently.
· Ability to pay close attention to details and meet deadlines.
· Willingness to work overtime, evenings, or weekends in order to complete work or to attend meetings.
Hours are 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
