Luse Contracting, is a leading commercial/industrial contractor in the Chicago area.  We are a union contractor specializing in insulation and environmental construction. 

Where you come in: Expanding our team with excellent Accounting Staff is a key component of our ambitious growth plan. You will be responsible for Accounts Payable activities and assist with the processing of our union payrolls. You will work with a team of Staff Accountants to achieve customer satisfaction and revenue generation, in line with company vision and values. You will be a critical member of our team and an extension of our brand to our clients and to the industry.

More specifically, you will have the opportunity to:
•              Develop and enhance your Accounting Skills among our family of companies.
•              Assist our Staff Accountants with Accounting Analysis
•              Perform Journal Entries
•              Assist with Month, Quarter and Year End Close
•              Review and maintain general ledger chart of accounts.
•              Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
•              Collaborate across the Luse Family of Companies to help grow our overall business.

Experience and skills required to excel in this position include:
•              Minimum AS in Accounting or Related Field
•              1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable and/or Union Payroll.
•              Strong comprehension of basic/accounting/bookkeeping principles and procedures
•              Organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently.
•              Effective written and verbal communication skills
