Responsible for effectively promoting and selling food & beverage programs in support of the Calistoga Ranch Incentive & Corporate group sales efforts. Work directly with Group Sales Managers and Area DOSM to develop and enhance incentive and corporate event logistics, associated with culinary events that will differentiate Calistoga Ranch as an event destination. Act as the primary contact for all advance planning, set up, event orchestration and post-departure follow up for each program. Requires consistent attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication capabilities. Must work across all departments, with a key focus on food and beverage, to detail each event and ensure flawless execution. Works with Area DOSM to track and forecast catering and banquet revenue.
The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, who is innovative, results driven with a desire to exceed customer expectations. Exceptional business acumen with attention to detail, forecast accuracy and pace preparation. Focused on revenue generation with differentiating strategies. A leader and active member of the team, handling high profile catering and events.
High school or equivalent education required.
Must be able to walk or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
Related hospitality experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.
Candidate must have flexible work schedule as well and work holidays.
Must meet the minimum age requirements to work in an alcohol and food service operation.
