Role Summary
Join our team as a Senior Massage Therapist who understands the value of maintaining exceptional guest service. It is our professional spa providers that make the difference between a good treatment and an incredible experience!

Pay Range
$17.50 - $18 / hour + 20% Commission

Key Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Provide all massages and spa treatments as outlined in the Auberge du Soleil protocol manual.
  • Prepare treatment room to client specifications while also adhering to Forbes service standards.
  • Greet guests warmly and escort guests to and from treatment rooms and attend to any immediate needs throughout the Spa visit. 
  • Perform prep work and properly clean and restock the room as required and needed it.
  • Assist in providing information to any inquiries, and helps to coordinate all guest requests for services.
  • Maintain professional ethics while ensuring personalized service is provided to each guest so they feel their needs are met.  
  • Maintain work area with necessary supplies. Ensure the room is immaculate at all times (tables draped, counters and products clean) as well as cleanliness of all other spa areas including locker rooms.
  • Assist fellow colleagues with daily operations to support healthy teamwork and contribute to the success of the spa.
  • Communicate to leadership any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa including guest complaints or misconduct.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Certificate of completion from a state or nationally-certified school of massage
  • Current and active California State Certification through California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC).
  • Proficient in deep tissue, body treatments, and other modalities. 
  • Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays. 
  • Minimum of 750 hours of massage education.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a luxury environment
  • One to two years of experience in massage therapy
