The Assistant Banquet Manager is responsible for supervising all elements of catered events in the hotel’s private dining facilities. Directs, trains, implements wedding, group and social events based on detailed specifications outlined by the client and catering team. Ensures property service standards are achieved and events are flawlessly executed. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and condition of work areas and equipment. Works in tandem with the Private Dining Manager, Co-Assistant Banquet Manager, along with Banquets, Catering & Sales and Culinary teams in an environment renown for service excellence.
- Exceptional guest service skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
- Prior Banquets experience, preferred.
- Strong beverage, food, and catering knowledge and the desire to create the ultimate guest experience.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and management skills and the ability to maintain focus in stressful situations.
- Candidate must have flexible work schedule as well as work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by business levels.
